We are proud to say that MJD’s was selected from a number of landscape companies to complete this high profile landscaping project at Milwaukee’s Mitchell Park Conservatory (The Domes). The coordinators at the Domes were looking for a way to increase revenue within the “Show Dome” area of the property.
MJD’s Property Solutions took two weeks to complete the entire project, which included a full replacement of the existing mulch walkway with a new Unilock Hollandstone paver path.
Since the project has been completed, it has provided Mitchell Park Conservatory the opportunity to host numerous events, such as concerts, weddings and photo shoots. The natural path was often a deterrent to brides and others in formal wear who didn’t want to walk through the mulch. Now, with the help of MJD’s Property Solutions, The Domes now has their very own “yellow brick road!”
We love our new pathway! Installation of a project this size at a public facility that is open every day of the week is a challenge. MJD’s Property Solutions not only worked around our schedules and that of our visitors, but also helped to develop a paver program as a sponsorship opportunity for our nonprofit group, the Friends of the Domes.
